Additionally, guided by his father, a pediatrician, Dr. Bluestein adopted two foundational principles: "Treat patients, not problems" and "Spend as much time as needed with patients." His impressive journey in the field of medicine began with a B.S. in Chemistry from Carnegie Mellon University, followed by earning his M.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He furthered his expertise through General Surgery training at the Yale Regional Program at Bridgeport Hospital. Driven by a passion for advancing medical knowledge, he embarked on a Post-Doctoral Fellowship at Yale University, focusing on wound healing research.
His dedication led him to complete his Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery residency at The Mount Sinai Medical Center in Manhattan, followed by specialized training as a fellow in Hand and Microsurgery at Yale School of Medicine. Since 1999, Dr. Bluestein has maintained a highly personalized practice in Fairfield, Connecticut.
