“I have had the honor of Dr Bluestein perform two procedures on me. (I am a nurse, and no , I've never worked with him. I only know him as a patient.) Dr Bluestein is an incredibly talented plastic surgeon. He's everything you can want in a surgeon. He's respectful, talented, detail oriented, explains everything a patient would need to know, and patiently answers your questions. Having dealt with many plastic surgeons as a nurse, I found Dr Bluestein to be one of the most "down to earth" plastic surgeons I have ever known, which is quite refreshing. More often than not, plastic surgeons are a bit full of themselves, and it often comes across in their attitude. ( perhaps deservedly , to a point) But not Dr. Bluestein. “In this review I would like to express my gratitude to Dr. Bluestein and his lovely wife who agreed to see us in emergency on Sunday evening. My youngest child had a bad bike accident which left her with a nasty wound on her forehead (we head a helmet on which unfortunately did not protect her forehead; she now owns a much better helmet). Torn between running to the ER and searching for a plastic surgeon in the area, I remembered that our pediatrician recommended Dr. Bluestein in such cases. And I’m glad she did!

Dr. Bluestein agreed to see us just past 7pm on Sunday. We were in and out of his office in one hour which also included paperwork completed by his wife. Doctor cleaned the debris out of wound, straightened the wound and carefully stitched it. All under local anesthesia.Less than a week later the wound is healing well and the scar is minimal. Dr. Bluestein saved us a lot of nerves, time, possible negative consequences of a complete sedation at the hospital, and my daughter’s looks of course. This is instead of resting at his home on Sunday evening. We are beyond grateful! On a photo is a thank you note drafted by my daughter.”

He was kind and caring. During the surgery he asked me if I was ok, if I was comfortable, did I have any pain. I had no pain while he was removing the growth nor did I need to take a pain killer at any time after the surgery was over and I was back at home. Remarkable. He didn’t rush my consult visit or the surgery. The staff were friendly and thorough. In the future should I need a plastic surgeon I would not hesitate to use Dr. Bluestein. It’s been 8 days and today, with a little makeup, you can barely see it! Unbelievable. A week ago my forehead was a bloody flap of meat, and today it’s just barely noticeable.
